Responsibilities
- Ensure accurate packaging of outbound parts orders and receipt of incoming parts
- Responsible for pickups and deliveries
- Fill, package and mark parts orders to meet delivery schedules
- Receive ordered parts and check items for damage and correct quantities
- Help with stocking and posting orders upon arrival to expedite delivery
- Keeping department clean, sweeping, trash and cardboard removal.
- Pull orders from printed packing slips for both customers and shop repair orders
- Help with physical inventory counts
- Load and unload stock merchandise
- Maintain parts and supplies inventories in an organized manner
- Keeping shelves stocked and report when inventory gets low
- Pull parts needed for counter staff
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent degree preferred
- At least 3 months of experience or related training preferred
- Must be able to drive a delivery van
- Excellent math and reading comprehension skills
- General understanding of automotive industry
- Ability to lift 60 lbs and work at heights of 25 feet or more
- Must be 18 years of age or older
- Computer-literate with the ability to learn and become proficient in any software program
- Valid driver's license and a clean driving record
- Must be able to pass a background check and drug screening
