Responsibilities (include but are not limited to): The basic function of Parts Counter person is the sale of vehicle parts to wholesale and retail customers, while expediting the parts requirements of the Service department.
- Provide efficient delivery, receipt of payment and pick-up of assigned parts in a courteous, prompt and safe manner; maintaining clear and accurate records.
- Promote and maintain customer satisfaction.
- Receive and stock parts orders.
- Pull and ship parts orders.
- Maintain the physical inventory.
Requirements Our Ideal Candidate Will Possess:
- 1 year prior experience in Parts stocking.
- Good working knowledge of vehicle parts.
- Strong organizational skills; attention to detail.
- Performance of extensive numerical calculations to a written record with a high degree of accuracy.
- Ability to identify, comprehend and act on changing customer requirements.
- Ability to retrieve, load and deliver items of various sizes and weights (up to 125 lbs.) in operable and undamaged condition.
- Computer skills; familiarity with CDK Parts Inventory Computer system.
- Possess good customer relations abilities, polite and courteous manner, cooperative attitude, team oriented.
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Ability to communicate and understand English and Spanish a plus.
- Maintain a valid driver's license, ability to drive a variety of vehicle types, insurable.
