International Drilling Equipment is seeking a Parts Specialist to join our team.The Parts Specialist will report to the Parts Manager and charged with the responsibility for assisting customers and mechanics in determining parts requirements, ensuring all parts issues are handled expeditiously and providing order processing services. The individual in this position should be personable, a problem solver, have a sense of urgency, detail oriented, ethical, work under pressure, willing to learn and be challenged, positive attitude, strong work ethic and able to adapt to all the forces around them- customers, suppliers, department employees, co-workers and manufacturers employees.IDE provides high-quality foundation equipment and drill rigs, backed up by client education and ongoing equipment servicing.   • Data entry for parts sales order, purchasing, receiving, logistics, pricing, and warehousing processes.
  • Warehousing functions - picking, packing and shipping.
  • Job function support for the parts department as required.
  • Clear and precise verbal and written communication.
  • Understand parts manuals and schematics
  • Assist service dept in looking up and obtaining parts needed for service work orders.
  • Must be able to follow up with customers and other departments within IDE
  • Operates within all parts policies and procedures of the company.
  • Maintains a high level of morale.
  • Maintains excellent interdepartmental relations.
  • Works safely and follows all safety guidelines.
  • Knowledgeable on all computer systems and processes for all parts department functions.
  • Familiar with all parts department forms and documents and the appropriate methods for complying with each of the information requirements with these forms
  • Adapt to changes in any manual or computer-related systems and procedures.
  • Provide customer service that improves customer success
Qualifications:
  • 5 years industrial parts experience required
  • Able to lift 50lbs
  • Microsoft Dynamics knowledge preferred but not required
  • Represent IDE in a professional manner to customers, venders and coworkers.
  • Build and retain both vendor and customer relationships
Work Hours and Environment:
  • Working hours are M-F 9am to 5:30pm
  • Work Environment is an office that is air-conditioned/heated according to the season
  • This position reports to the Rural Hall, NC, location
