Responsibilities:

  • Prepare fresh pasta dough and shape it into various forms (e.g., spaghetti, fettuccine, ravioli).
  • Cook pasta to the desired texture (al dente) while maintaining consistency.
  • Follow recipes to prepare pasta sauces and fillings.
  • Ensure the freshness and quality of all pasta ingredients.
  • Taste and adjust seasoning and texture as needed to meet quality standards.
  • Assist chefs and other kitchen staff with pasta-related tasks.
  • Coordinate with kitchen team members to ensure timely and efficient production.
  • Follow all health, safety, and sanitation guidelines in the kitchen.
  • Clean and sanitize work areas, utensils, and equipment regularly.
  • Properly store pasta and other kitchen supplies to prevent spoilage.
  • Monitor stock levels of pasta ingredients and report shortages to supervisors.
  • Assist in ordering, receiving, and storing pasta supplies.
  • Follow detailed recipes and instructions provided by the Head Chef or Kitchen Manager.
  • Measure ingredients accurately to maintain recipe consistency.
  • Work quickly and accurately to meet production schedules and deadlines.
  • Multitask and prioritize tasks effectively to manage workload.
