As a Pastry Art Apprentice, you will play a vital role in creating visually appealing and delicious pastries. You will also assist in training and development within the Bakery Department, focusing on cake decorating for those with minimal or no retail decorating experience. • Experience Required: 0 to 6 months
• Education Desired: No High School diploma required
• Lifting Requirement: Up to 50 pounds
• Age Requirement: At least 18 years of age

Job Responsibilities

• Learn product knowledge and procedures, such as special orders and portion control.
• Follow merchandising principles to boost sales and enhance guest experience.
• Maintain safety as a top priority in all aspects of work.
• Provide exceptional customer service by greeting customers and offering assistance in product selection.
• Handle products and equipment in accordance with food safety guidelines.
• Prepare and decorate bakery products, ensuring code dating procedures are followed.
• Keep work area and department clean and organized.
• Assist in maintaining bakery backroom efficiency.
• Perform other duties as required.
