Overview:
  • Familiar with scaling, mixing and cake assembly
  • Comfortable baking with convention ovens and have an understanding of baking temperature ranges in cake, quick bread and cookies
  • Able to garnish finished desserts
  • A team player with the perfect mix of culinary and administrative expertise.
  • Able to maintain the highest standards of food quality, presentation, sanitation and safety.
  • Highly organized and possess the ability to handle multiple tasks/diverse duties while determining appropriate priorities for their completion.
Qualifications:
  • 2+ years in the pastry production, French pastry experience preferred
  • Degree from a post-secondary culinary arts training program is preferred
  • Be passionate about the food industry with a strong interest in high quality products
  • Strong organizational and decision-making skill, along with the ability to recognize what needs to be prioritized
  • Ability to work shifts up to 10 hours while standing or walking to perform essential functions
  • Strong communication skills to communicate effectively with management and team members
  • Must be available to work weekends and holiday when needed
Compensation Range: The compensation for this position is $22.00/Hr. - $22.00/Hr. based on qualifications and experience.
