- Complete task lists provided by the Pastry Chef timely and with positive attitude.
- Produce cookies, cakes, pies and breads from scratch.
- Assure that the quality of the food is up to the set standards.
- Maintain bakery workspace cleanliness and organization.
- Maintain strict control of food waste and correct storage.
- Maintain a sense of urgency during entire shift.
- Exemplify Thanksgiving Point's Mission, Values, and Policies.
- Other duties as assigned by manager/supervisor.
Requirements:
- Strong understanding of a variety of cooking techniques.
- Ability to read and execute recipes in English.
- Great work ethic including willingness to execute tasks timely and effectively with a great attitude and attention to detail.
- Ability to lift 50 lbs. and stand for long periods of time.
- High School diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Experience in all aspects of pastries and breads preferred.
- Must pass a background check.
