Pathways to Community is a collaborative partnership between the Coconino County Sheriff's Office and Coconino County Health and Human Services (CCHHS) that will provide Re-Entry support for individuals leaving the Coconino County Jail. Individuals being released from custody will receive immediate connection to social, behavioral, housing, transportation, and legal services. The Pathways Coordinator will serve as the administrative lead for on site staff. This position will report to the Pathways Manager to provide program coordination and administrative work including but not limited to report preparation, financial reporting, documentation review, monitoring referrals and facilitating regular communication with on-site partners. Under general supervision performs work of moderate difficulty coordinating public programs; performs related work as assigned. Please note: This is a limited appointment position funded by The Arizona Attorney General Opioid Abatement Funding- Coordinated Re-Entry Planning Service Program (RFGA) grant ending June 30, 2025. Typical Duties
- Implements and coordinates programs that provide services to the public
- Assures program contract or regulatory compliance
- Provides support and advocacy to program participants
- Investigates and resolves client complaints
- Prepares and maintains records and reports
- Coordinates and collaborates with community-based organizations, public agencies, coalitions, schools and other appropriate facilities to implement programs
- Prepares and disseminates informational program materials
- Monitors referrals
- Supports client facing staff
- May supervise and train student employees, interns and/or volunteers
- Promotes collaborative and empowering work environment
- Performs related work as assigned
Essential functions include but are not limited to: driving; working with and around others; working with frequent interruptions; repetitive (hand, wrist, elbow and shoulder) motion for computer work; visual acuity (near and far) for computer work and working with applicants; color vision for working with computer screen; hearing and speech for ordinary and conversations and training; touch for computer work. Minimum QualificationsAssociate degree in public/business administration, or a related field within subject area, and two years of administrative experience; ORThree years of administrative experience; OR Any equivalent combination of education, training and experience which demonstrates the ability to perform the duties of the position.ADDITIONAL REQUIRMENTS: Must apply for a Fingerprint Clearance Card within the first month of employment. Any appeals resulting from denial must be submitted within the first six months of employment. Must obtain an Arizona driver's license by date of hire and maintain it throughout employment. Final job offer will be contingent upon a satisfactory 5-year Arizona Motor Vehicle Report. Preferred Qualifications: Program coordination/management experience in the nonprofit/social service/public sectorFormal professional team or project lead experienceFinancial and/or programmatic reporting experienceWorking knowledge of the behavioral health and criminal justice systems The ideal candidate is an approachable leader with program management and/or project leadership experience and working knowledge of the criminal justice system. This candidate will have considerable administrative experience including financial reporting and a high degree of organizational skills.
