Job DescriptionJoin CentraCare as a Patient Access Assistant at the CentraCare Northway Clinic. As a Patient Access Assistant, you are often the first point of contact for our patients. In this highly visibility role, you will welcome patients and check them in for their appointment. A patient Access Assistant will verify patient information, verify insurance information, process complex documents checking for accuracy and completeness, schedule appointments or transmit information to other departments, obtain and identify information necessary to produce billable patient accounts, and manage phones while exercising professional judgment and applying detailed knowledge of facility procedures related to the work performed. Schedule:
- Full-Time | 80 hours every two weeks
- Various 8-hour weekday shifts between 7 a.m. to 5 p.m.
- No Weekends or holidays!
Pay and Benefits:

Requirements:
- Minimum of 1 year clerical, administrative, or customer service experience -OR-
- 1 year of prior scheduling, billing, patient access, accounts receivable, and/or collections experience.
