SUMMARY: Attends Birthing Center reception desk; performs clerical and reception duties. Requisitions supplies, equipment and services. Supports processes to maintain the functionality and integrity of the Medical Record. Interview patient and/or family to review all demographic and financial data necessary to accurately complete the registration.
Required Education/Training: High School diploma or equivalent
Required Experience: Six (6) months' clerical or customer service experience in a front face office setting or retail environment
Preferred Experience: Six (6) months' recent unit secretary/ward clerk experience; prior clerical experience; strong interpersonal skills, typing; medical terminology
