Job DescriptionResponsible for answering calls for the Behavioral Health Access Center and associated tasks which include information collection related to site, level of care and presenting problem, registration, and scheduling. May also participate in some Insurance-related tasks including but not limited to verification, collection of co-payments, and collection of associated paperwork. Provides confidential customer service by responding to callers looking for behavioral health services in an empathetic and compassionate manner. Conducts phone screening of caller to triages for clinical appropriateness, level of care and location of service in order to provide the right care at the right location. Schedules callers for requested outpatient behavioral health service if clinically appropriate Documents responses to clinical triage questions in patient's electronic medical record Provides referral information or other resources if services are not available through Atlantic Behavioral Health. Perform other duties as assigned.
