Pride Health is hiring a Patient Access Representative for one of its clients in Michigan. This is a part-time role
This is a 2-month contract to hire with competitive pay and benefits.
Location Southfield - Michigan (48075)
Length of Assignment 2 months (CONTRACT TO POSSIBLE)
Shift Monday to Friday 8:00 AM -12:00 PM Part-time
Pay range - $16 - $18 per hour.
Job Summary
The main function of a patient access representative is to act as the liaison between the organization and the customer/patient. They will provide product education and handle various questions while ensuring a positive customer service experience.
Job Duties
- Act as a liaison between clients, the customer base, and patients.
- Resolve routine customer requests with products or services via inbound, and outbound calls, or the Internet.
- Speak with customers in a courteous, friendly, and professional manner using protocol procedures.
- Inquire, clarify, and confirm customer requirements and understanding of the solution.
- Provide additional customer education and information as needed.
- Qualify and establish inbound new customers requesting client's products and services.
- Work in multiple databases to research complex issues and questions.
- Notify clients of test results in a timely and accurate manner.
- Review test forms for accuracy and report any discrepancies.
- Perform administrative support for medical record management, CRM data maintenance, and internal records to assure HIPAA compliance.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent experience.
- Bachelor's degree preferred.
- Previous experience in customer service preferred.
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office.
- Strong verbal and written communication.
- Courteous with a strong customer service orientation.
- Understanding of medical terminology used in clinical settings.
