This is a full-time position Tuesday - Friday, 7a to 5:30p and 1 Saturday a month from 8a to 12p in the Greenfield Clinic. This is a great opportunity to use your current skills and gain some new ones alongside our caring and dedicated team.ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: Basic computer skills and knowledge of the Business Office equipment, including copy machine, calculators, printers, fax machines, postage meter and phone system. Basic financial acuity including daily cash drawer balancing. Excellent written and verbal communication skills in dealing with patients and co-workers. Iowa Medicaid Presumptive Eligibility Program training and certification (may obtain within 90 days of employment). Completed price transparency competency modules as required for position within 90 days of employment. The incumbent must demonstrate an understanding and working knowledge of the Windows environment and Microsoft Office products, as well as ability to access and use information in meaningful ways. Demonstrate ability to use Internet. Maintains confidentiality of all patient and financial information. Promptly responds to all customer requests in a courteous, professional and timely manner.Actively serves on hospital committees and task forces as assigned.RequirementsHigh school graduate or equivalent.Previous customer service experience, preferred.Financial/Insurance experience or education, preferred.IME Presumptive Eligibility Program certification preferred.
