Role: Infusion Center Associate - Patient Access Specialist

Duration: 6 Month Contract possibility of conversion/extension

Shift: 8-4, 9-5, 10-6, 11-7, need to be flexible if asked to cover a shift

• Availability to volunteer for OT weekend shifts

Location: 2 Longview Ave Suite 300 White Plains, NY 10601

Pay Rate: $24-30/hr

Must-Haves:

• 1-2 years of experience working as a patient access specialist in an outpatient setting
• Ability to handle high patient volume around 100 patients/day with accuracy
• Experience using an EMR system to schedule appointments, check in/out, register patients
• Proven customer service experience

Day to Day:

Insight Global is seeking a front-end infusion center associate (patient access specialist) to sit in the White Plains, NY area. This person will be responsible for registering, checking in/out, and scheduling appointments for up to 100 patients per day. He/She should expect to manage phone traffic and triage to the appropriate party. When scheduling appointments, this person will be expected to communicate with RN leadership to ensure RN staff is abundant enough to support the patient scheduled that day. Upon beginning this position, he/she will be required to complete PAS certification through HBI. The qualified candidate will be an experienced administrative professional with superior customer service skills working in a healthcare environment. The ability to build trusted relationships and work with people at all levels is essential. Excellent communication and the ability to critically think as well as the ability to multitask complex projects requiring strict attention to detail are imperative.
