We're seeking a dynamic and experienced Patient Access Supervisor to join our growing healthcare team in the beautiful Finger Lakes region of New York. This role offers a unique opportunity to lead and develop our Patient Access Department while contributing to the overall success of our organization. Key Responsibilities •Manage and mentor Patient Access staff, ensuring high-quality customer service and operational efficiency •Oversee Meditech training for all ADM users, including decentralized Access areas •Conduct quality assurance checks to maintain compliance with payer and regulatory requirements •Prepare staff schedules and process payroll, ensuring adequate coverage for all shifts •Monitor and improve departmental productivity and work quality •Develop and maintain policies and procedures to enhance accuracy and efficiency •Verify daily census and resolve insurance claim processing errors •Collaborate with other departments to achieve organizational goals Qualifications •Minimum 3 years of experience in Patient Access or Patient Financial Services •Prior supervisory or management experience in a healthcare setting •Strong understanding of revenue cycle management and medical billing/coding •Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite and medical software systems (e.g., Meditech) •Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills •Knowledge of HIPAA regulations and JCAHO standards Location This position is based in either Geneva or Penn Yan, NY, both located in the picturesque Finger Lakes region.
