- Performs admitting functions for all patients entering the organization, including gathering patient demographic information and Medicare, Medicaid or insurance information.
- Greets patients and public as they enter and directs them to the appropriate department.
- Communicates with all departments to facilitate patient care, patient flow, and special needs.
- Operates the central switchboard and directs telephone calls, paging and taking messages appropriately.
- Provide clerical support for projects and assignments.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Good computer and clerical skills required.
- Effective telephone and communication skills required.
