JOB SUMMARY:The Patient Accounts Assistant is responsible for providing general office support for a variety of clerical and electronic activities. Duties include scanning of documents, submission of paper claims with required documents, timely resolution of errors or rejections, preparing outgoing mail, sorting and distributing incoming and interdepartmental mail to and from the department. Requires excellent internal and external customer service skills, professional telephone skills and the ability to pay attention to detail.
QUALIFICATIONS: EducationHigh school diploma or equivalent preferred.
Experience• One year previous office experience preferred.
