We are looking for an amazing Patient Advocate to join our Insurance Verification Team immediately and help our Moms receive the thousands of dollars of free items available to them through their insurance plans.Responsibilities will include, but are not limited to: Insurance verification of Moms benefits, data order entry in Brightree system, outbound customer follow up via email and SMS, answering inbound customer calls, filing duties and other tasks in various computer systems as assigned. This individual will work with management to plan, organize and implement processes that enable our continued growth.Compensation will be commensurate with medical insurance benefit verification experience but includes Health Insurance, an Employee Stock Option Plan, Progressive Vacation Policy, Family Friendly Atmosphere and many other perks.Patient Advocate Tasks:
  • Providing exceptional customer care in an expedient manner
  • Ability to maintain strict confidentiality of patient/customer information
  • Understanding and promoting Bump Health products, culture and values
  • Assessing the unique needs of customers using consultative methods and recognizing potential sales opportunities
  • Be willing to help team members complete various tasks to accomplish organizational goals
Requirements
  • Knowledge of medical insurance verification of patient benefits
  • Understanding of insurance reimbursement policies and restrictions
  • Strong communication skills
  • Brightree Experience
  • Excellent decision-making abilities
  • Experience with technology (Excel and Reporting)
  • Problem Solving skills and finding innovative solutions
  • Ability to manage Daily, Weekly, and Monthly Reporting
  • Multitasking skills
  • Must be able to relate well to customers and co-workers in an atmosphere of mutual respect and be able to respond appropriately to direction and constructive criticism from a supervisor
  • Fully utilizing the systems, tools, training, and resources provided to maximize potential
