Position Summary: Responsible for coordinating patient benefits including generating referrals, conducting pre-certifications, checking patient eligibility of multiple practices.Position Requirements:* High school diploma or equivalent required, some college preferred* Minimum of two years experience generating referrals. Experience in similar specialty setting preferred* Previous experience pre-certifying insurance benefits* Previous experience checking patient insurance eligibility* Minimum of two years previous coding experience* Thorough knowledge managed care plan requirements and limitations* Previous experience with practice management/medical billing computer programs required* Computer registration and EMR experience preferred* Previous Microsoft Office Suite (specifically Word and Excel) experience referred* Excellent oral/written communication skills* Excellent organizational skills* Detailed oriented* Ability to set priorities, document conversations and specific actions taken and apply appropriate policies and procedures* Flexible, able to adapt to change* Must have EPIC experience* Bilingual is a plus
