The Opportunity The Patient Care Advocate will provide exceptional patient service by presenting enhanced communication, and strong knowledge on the services provided by Mindful Care. The Patient Care Advocate will partner with other clinical staff to ensure that a comprehensive approach is provided to all patients. Responsibilities
  • Manage patients concerns and expectations with Mindful Care processes to ensure compliance and patient satisfaction
  • Maintain and sustain all communications (e-mails, faxes, and mail) with patients, pharmacies, referral sources, hospitals, and therapist to ensure patient needs are being met and retention is optimal
  • Assist clients with obtaining medical records, letters/forms, prescription refills, and GeneSight testing
  • Obtain prior authorizations from insurance companies for medications and/or services
  • Connect patients with the appropriate departments as it relates to their questions or concerns; anticipate the need for Emergency Activation
  • Provide referral information (if applicable) to patients upon discharge from Mindful Care
  • Function as the liaison between Mindful Care Patient Experience Representatives, Patient Operations, and psychiatric providers
  • Perform administrative and all other duties as assigned by management
Qualifications
  • Required: 3+ years' experience in administrative functions and/or case management
  • Preferred: Possess BLS or CPR/First Aid certification
  • Preferred: Experience with TMS (Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation) administration
  • Required: Proficiency with Google Suite and Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams)
  • Required: Associate degree required; bachelor's degree preferred (experience may be substituted for bachelor's
  • Required: Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Required: Must have reliable transportation and home internet access
Position & Schedule
  • Type: Regular Full-time, Non-exempt
  • Hours: Mon-Friday 9am-5pm with one late day of 12-8pm
  • Location Type:Hybrid (2 days in office and 3 days WFH)
Compensation The base salary range for this position is $20.00 - $24.00 per hour. In addition to a base salary, this position is eligible for benefits (subject to eligibility requirements) listed here: medical, dental, vision, 401(k), PTO, and company holidays to name a few. Total compensation is based on several factors including, but not limited to, type of position, location, education level, work experience, and certifications.
