General Medicine (H9A)
The Gen Med team cares for a range of patients whom do not fit any other specialty (Asthma, Failure to Thrive, Hyperbilirubinemia, readmit unit for neonatal, first-time seizure, adolescent med). H9A is a fast-paced unit that typically turns over 8-10 patients per day, with 90% of admissions coming from the Emergency Room.
