Job Type: FT40Pay: Entry Level $15.00 per hourSchedule: Mon-Friday, no nights or weekendsShift: Rotating 8/hr days with start times between 6:30am-8:00am and end times between 2:30pm-4:00pmAre you looking to take you current career path to the next step? Staff may be assigned to either location depending on facility schedules. We are willing to train candidates with applicable medical facility experience. Apply today and let's be partners in success!Some of your responsibilities in this role will be:Pre-op:* To escort patients to pre-op area* Obtains vital signs and urine specimens* Obtains initial information re: driver, NPO status and prep results* Terminally cleans pre-op rooms at end of the day* Restocks area as neededIn Recovery Room:* Escorts patients to their vehicles after discharge from the center (ambulatory or via wheelchair)* Cleans stretchers and patient recovery room slots* Restocks patient nourishment refrigerator* Communicates information between recovery and pre-op nurses, as neededWhat are we looking for in a candidate?* High School diploma or GED required* Previous experience in the medical field is preferred* Is always friendly and courteous with excellent communication skills* Is an active listener who can respond to fellow employees/customers in a timely, competent manner* Is able to distinguish emergency patient situations* Presents a professional, caring image* Is able to adapt and work independently and efficiently under pressure, with multiple interruptions and with a high degree of accuracy* Exercises discretion and integrity in dealing with confidential information ( complies with HIPAA privacy rules)What we offer:A professional work environment where you can learn, enhance your skills and grow into new opportunities.* Competitive pay rates* Paid time off* Paid holidays with bonus paid floating holidays* Medical, Dental, Vision, Life & Disability benefits* 401k retirement plan with company matchWe are a proud Equal Employment Opportunity Employer!Apply today to learn more about Pinnacle GI!
