South Brazoria County's premier healthcare system St. Luke's Health-Brazosport Hospital is dedicated to providing quality care with compassion for the communities we serve.**Responsibilities**Performs a variety of routine tasks to support the delivery of safe, effective, cost-efficient patient care as delegated by the RN. They provide assistance in transporting, transferring and lifting. They perform cleaning functions in patient care unit as delegated, and perform selected diagnostic tests.1. Provides direct patient care as delegated by RN staff2. Monitors and records vital signs3. Assists in providing personal hygiene and physical care needs4. Accurately measures, records, and reports intake and output5. Obtains and records daily weight6. Performs blood glucose testing using blood glucose meter7. Reports changes in patient's status promptly to RN8. Performs as sitter or patient care companion when needed9. Assists in the admission, transfer and discharge process10. Performs unit housekeeping needs.11. Delivers specimens, picks up medications and other items**Qualifications**+ High School Diploma/GED Required+ Less than 1 year of previous patient care experience required+ BLS required**Pay Range**$13.22 - $18.17 /hourWe are an equal opportunity/affirmative action employer.
