$3,000 Sign-On/Retention Bonus Available for Qualified Candidates AS A PATIENT CARE ASSISTANT/MONITOR TECH, under the direction and supervision of the Director, you will be responsible for performing cardiac monitor observation duties. As the Patient Care Assistant,you'll be relied upon for prioritizing patient needs in order to assure their continuing comfort while providing direct and indirect supportive nursing care on our Acute Surgical Unit.
QUALIFICATIONS: - Must have High school diploma or equivalent required
- Must have current Pennsylvania nursing assistant certificationorcurrent EMT/Paramedic certificationorCompletion of nursing assistant courseorCompletion of Clinical Medical Assistant programorCompletion of one semester of clinical experience in RN nursing school orCurrent experience as nursing assistant required
- Must have one year patient care, EMT or Paramedic experience preferred
- Must have Crisis Management training within 18 months of start in the position
- Must have the ability to work flexible hours including night shift, weekends, holidays, etc.
- Must have good communication skills
- Must have ability to pass Criminal Background Check
