Job Summary

As a Patient Care Assistant on the Night Shift, you will provide basic nursing care to non-acutely ill patients under the supervision of a Registered Nurse. Your responsibilities will include assisting with personal hygiene, activities of daily living, mobility, and maintaining a safe and clean environment. You may also be required to transport medications as authorized by Pharmacy Services.

• Assist nursing staff with basic patient care tasks, ensuring a safe and clean environment
• Identify patients before providing care and report any changes or concerns to the primary caregiver
• Observe, document, and report vital signs and intake/output measurements
• Provide personal care such as bathing, oral care, and grooming, as well as assist with ambulation and toileting
• Complete other duties as required

Requirements

• High School graduate or equivalent
• Basic life support and behavior management training completed by end of probationary period
