Job Summary

We are seeking a Patient Care Assistant to provide direct patient care under the supervision of a Registered Nurse. Responsibilities include assisting with daily living tasks, recording patient measurements, and providing support to patients and their families.

Core Job Responsibilities

• Assist with personal care tasks such as bathing, oral care, and mobility assistance.
• Record patient measurements including vital signs, weights, and intake/output.
• Respond promptly to patient call lights and provide support as needed.
• Independently perform tasks such as collecting specimens, setting up oxygen, and assisting with wound care.
• Assist in maintaining the cleanliness of patient rooms and unit areas.
• Respond appropriately in emergency situations and report any changes in patient conditions to the supervising RN.

Education/Experience Requirements

Required:

• Current enrollment in an accredited Nursing Program
• Completion of one semester of clinicals
