Job Overview
Shriners Children's is the premier pediatric burn, orthopaedic, spinal cord injury, cleft lip and palate, and pediatric subspecialties medical center. We have an opportunity for a Per Diem Patient Care Assistant in our Ambulatory Surgery Center.
This position is per diem, non-exempt and benefits eligible. The pay range for this position is $21.00 - $29.65/hour. Compensation is determined based on relevant experience and department equity.
Responsibilities
The Patient Care Assistant assists in the delivery of patient care under the supervision of a Registered Nurse. The PCA provides direct patient care and performs routine tasks as assigned. Must consistently demonstrate caring and appropriate behavior when interacting with patients and families. Assists with wound and skin care, keeps unit and work areas stocked, and provides delegated nursing care activities as appropriate.

Certification/Licensure
Certified Nurse Assistant (CNA)
Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR)
Experience
One year of pediatric experience preferred
