**Description:**

Full Time, Part Time Day Shift and Night Shift Patient Care Assistant positions available to support our new Together Care Program at Mercy Fitzgerald Hospital.

**Summary:**

The Patient Care Assistant (PCA) is responsible for direct patient care tasks as assigned and under supervision of professional nursing personnel. Also provides indirect care to maintain unit functions as directed by the professional nursing staff i.e. care and cleaning of specific equipment, transportation of patients, stocking of supplies and equipment, etc.

**Requirements**

+ Certified Nurse Assistant preferred or current nursing student who has completed at least 1 clinical rotation.

+ Current AHA BLS

+ Previous acute patient care in a hospital setting highly desired.

+ High school diploma or GED equivalent required
