  • Conducts interview of clients to obtain personal and medical information, and appropriate health history
  • Prepare collected specimens for laboratory-testing y performing venipuncture and/or finger stick testing
  • Operates electrocardiograph equipment to record electrical wave tracing of the electrical current of the heart muscle and refer to EKG racing to register nurse of Emergency Department provider
  • Checks vital signs, weight, and measure patients, performs visions and hearing testing records findings on patient charts
Minimum Qualifications1. High school diploma or its educational equivalent, approved by a State's Department of Education or a recognized accrediting organization; and2. Successful completion of a NYS Department of Health prescribed training program for Phlebotomy, satisfactory to the Laboratory Director; and3.
