ResponsibilitiesThe Journeys and Adventures that Await:
- Answering phone calls
- Maintains optimum patient flow by keeping exam rooms occupied with patients for office visits; communicates scheduling delays with colleagues and patients
- Triage patient telephone calls and help manage physician in-basket messages per established department guidelines
- Organizes and schedules patient appointments
- Answers telephones to schedule appointments and takes appropriate patient messages.
- Orders supplies to replenish materials used by staff.
- Other Duties as Assigned
- Processes mail.
