Patient Care Associate Sitters Per Diem Nights - 210####### **Description**

: **Summary**

Patient Care Associate / PCA Assists nursing service personnel with a variety of patient careactivities and related services necessary in caring for the personal needs and comfort of patients.

Patient Care Associate / PCA Assists with personal hygiene, takes vital signs and changes bed linens.

Patient Care Associate / PCA May serve and collect food trays, provide for between-meal nourishment, and clean, sterilize, store and prepare other supplies.

Patient Care Associate / PCA Has knowledge of commonly used concepts, practices, and procedures within a particular field.

**Responsibilities**

* Patient Care Associate / PCA Relies on instructions and pre-established guidelines to perform the functions of the job.

* Works under immediate supervision.

* Patient Care Associate / PCA Typically reports to a registered nurse or supervisor.

**Qualifications**

: **Education**

**Required:** High school diploma or GED

**Certifications**

**Required:BLS**
