Job Overview:
We are seeking an A-Player Patient Care Coordinator who can bring energy, initiative, and a passion for exceptional customer service to our physical therapy office. The right candidate will play a key role in ensuring our patients have a seamless experience from scheduling to billing, while also supporting the smooth operation of our office.
Working Hours: 10 AM - 7 PM (subject to change)
Key Responsibilities:
- Patient Interaction: Be the welcoming face of our practice, greeting patients and visitors with professionalism and warmth.
- Scheduling & Coordination: Efficiently manage appointment schedules and calendars to ensure smooth clinic operations.
- Insurance & Billing Expertise: Verify insurance coverage, handle authorizations, and navigate out-of-network policies with confidence.
- Patient Records: Collect, maintain, and update electronic medical records accurately.
- Customer Service & Problem-Solving: Answer phone calls, respond to emails, and resolve patient inquiries promptly with a focus on customer satisfaction.
- Office Management: Help maintain an organized, clean, and professional office environment, ensuring it operates efficiently.
- Team Collaboration: Work closely with our physical therapy and administrative teams to guarantee exceptional patient experiences.
What We're Looking For:
- Experience: Prior experience in a medical office or customer service role (preferably within physical therapy or healthcare) is a must.
- Insurance Knowledge: Familiarity with insurance verification and out-of-network policies.
- Tech-Savvy: Proficient in Microsoft Office and comfortable navigating electronic medical records systems.
- Communication & Problem-Solving: Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to multitask and think critically to solve challenges proactively.
