T, Garland, Texas 75044North Garland VisionPatient Care Coordinators are responsible for providing exceptional service by welcoming our patients and ensuring all check-in and checkout processes are completed.* Acknowledge and greets patients, customer, and vendors as they walk into the practice, in a friendly and welcoming manner* Answers and responds to telephone inquiries in a professional and timely manner* Schedules appointments* Gathers patients and insurance information* Verifies and enters patient demographics into EMR ensuring all fields are complete* Verifies vision and medical insurance information and enters EMR* Maintains a clear understanding of insurance plans and is able to communicate insurance information to the patients* Pulls schedules to ensure insurance eligibility prior to patient appointment and ensures files are complete* Prepare insurance claims and run reports to ensure all charges are billed and filed* Print and prepare forms for patients visit* Collects and documents all charges, co-pays, and payments into EMR* Allocates balances to insurance as needed* Always maintains a clean workspace* Practices economy in the use of _me, equipment, and supplies* Performs other duties as needed and as assigned by manager* High school diploma or equivalent* Basic computer literacy* Strong organizational skills and attention to detail* Strong communication skills (verbal and written)* Must be able to maintain patient and practice confidentialityBenefits* 401(k) with Match* Medical/Dental/Life/STD/LTD* Vision Service Plan* Employee Vision Discount Program* HSA/FSA* PTO* Paid Holidays* Benefits applicable to full Time Employees only.Physical Demands* This position requires the ability to communicate and exchange information, utilize equipment necessary to perform the job, and move about the office.Full-timeNegligibleOn-SiteBenefits: 401(k) with Match, Medical/Dental/Life/STD/LTD, Vision Service Plan, Employee Vision Discount, Program HSA/FSA, PTO, Paid Holidays *Benefits applicable to Full Time Employment only*
