Primary Responsibilities:

  • Reviews and processes paperwork turned in by field clinicians for accuracy, prepares physician orders/plan of treatments for signature from physician, daily tasks of uploading of documentation into patients EMR
  • Assists with supplies for clinicians for the patients
  • Assists with faxing, phone calls, preparing admission packets for our field clinicians
  • Maintains all physician orders, referral information, and service notes from all disciplines, lab reports, and other clinical documentation in an organized manner
  • Assists with managing and ordering of the home health nursing supplies, maintaining supply room with adequate supplies and sufficient par levels

Required Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma/GED (or higher)
  • 1+ years of experience in a medical office environment
  • Intermediate level of computer proficiency including knowledge of Excel, Word processing software, and printer, fax, and copier machines

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Home health experience
  • Medical Terminology knowledge
  • Knowledge of general office procedures

Soft Skills:

  • Ability to lift 25 lbs.
  • Typing skills should be at a minimum speed of 40 wpm
  • Ability to remain seated for prolonged periods and maintain concentration to tasks

  • Ability to work in a stressful environment
