Patient Care Director - RN - Therapeutic Medicine Center | Full-Time, DaysThe Patient Care Director is responsible for managing clinical nursing practices, staff recruitment and retention, performance evaluations, supply chain management, budgeting, quality improvement, and ensuring compliance with both internal and external regulatory survey requirements. This role involves collaborating with members of the interdisciplinary team and various professionals to facilitate exceptional patient care.Our collaborative team approach and patient-centered nursing philosophy contribute to improved patient outcomes. Preferred Criteria- Demonstrated leadership experience within a large academic medical center
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Oncology Nursing Certification
- Experience administering chemotherapy
Required Criteria- Master's Degree in Nursing (MSN) or health-related field
- Current NYS RN licensure
- At least 2 years of management experience
- At least 3 years of clinical experience
- At least one year of acute care RN experience in oncology
- Biotherapy and Chemotherapy Certification
- OCN certification required one year after start date
