Works in cooperation with nursing staff and under the direction of the emergency physicians providing timely, efficient and effective acute care of patients utilizing a team model. Performs care including assessments, treatments and medication administration to emergency department patients utilizing skills based on the National Scope of Practice for Paramedics.Minimum Education* HS Diploma or equivalent.* Completion of accredited paramedic education program.Minimum Work Experience* 3 years as a pre-hospital care provider required, experience as a Critical Care Paramedic preferred.* Experience with immobilization and stabilization procedures a plus.Required Licenses/Certifications* Basic airway skills.* Immobilization skills.* IV therapy skills.* Oxygen and ventilation administration skills.* Bleeding control and shock management skills.* Ability to communicate effectively and document information accurately.* Ability to move or lift patients and equipment.* Demonstrated proficiency in providing critical care, knowledge, and skills.* Demonstrated moderate knowledge of Medical Terminology.* Demonstrated moderate knowledge of basic computer skills.Pay Range: $22.39 - $33.09COMPETITIVE DIFFERENTIALS RATES* $4.25 - Evenings* $8.00 - Nights* $4.75 - Weekends#PM24PIc621f072fc1b-29400-#######3
