Job Specifications/Qualifications Basic computer skills Must be certified as a C.N.A. or currently enrolled in an accredited nursing program with at least one semester of hands-on clinicals completed Education High School Diploma or equivalent required Current BLS CPR certification Certificates, Licenses, Registrations C.N.A. certification through the Arkansas Office of Long Term Care ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties or task may be requested or assigned by immediate supervisor, his/her designee, or other management/supervisor.
- Participates in planning and implementing daily activities for patients
- Reports relevant patient information to the Registered Nurse for evaluation,
- intervention and documentation
- Monitors the patients during use of potentially hazardous equipment
- Assists in admission process of the patient, which includes the inspection, and proper care of all patients' clothing and property, orientation of the patient to the unit and the program
- Answers signal lights, bells, or intercom system to determine patients' needs
