Job Summary

The clinical laboratory assistant primary responsibility is the cleaning, disinfection and set up of equipment. Secondary responsibility is to assist the supervisor with daily projects as assigned.

Responsibilities*

This position is responsible for cleaning and maintaining patient equipment, following proper HLD procedures, and preparing the patient rooms for patients on a daily basis. The Patient Care Tech Assistant also helps to maintain and track inventory.

Required Qualifications*

* High school diploma with basic science course work or an equivalent combination of education is necessary.

* Certification in basic cardiac life support is required upon hire.
