Patient Care Technicians are multi-skilled to provide expanded services under the direct supervision of a licensed clinical professional. Whether you're seasoned in the field or just starting out, we welcome patient care technicians of all experience levels. We are seeking a self-motivated, independent and compassionate individual to help serve our patients. Ability to adapt to a dynamic work environment while managing various tasks is required. We believe in doing good; it's how we deliver exceptional care and improve the human condition at every stage of life!Your day to day may include:Taking patient vital signsRooming patients for providersCleaning and stocking patient treatment roomsAssisting providers and nursing team as neededAvailable for you:Specialized on-boarding and on the job trainingCareer advancement through educational assistanceA workspace that values an encouraging employee experienceA dedicated team that drives diversity, equity, and inclusion within our workplaceQualificationsHigh school graduate or general equivalency diploma (GED) preferred, but not required.Minimum of six months' experience preferred. Experience in a clinic setting preferred. Knowledge of healthcare, anatomy, physiology, medical terminology, and medical equipment/supplies preferred.Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) preferred. Obtains and subsequently maintains required department specific competencies and certifications. Basic Life Support (BLS) for health care providers required or within the first 60 days of employment.If working in North Dakota (ND) and not a Certified Nursing Assistant, must be registered as a Nursing Assistant (NA) through the North Dakota Department of Health within four months from the date of initial employment.BenefitsSanford Health offers an attractive benefits package for qualifying full-time and part-time employees.
