Get to Know Your Team: Hackensack Meridian Pascack Valley Medical Center is a 128-bed, full-service, acute-care community hospital with a new emergency department, a state-of-the-art maternity center, a women's imaging center, and an ICU. Responsibilities Patient Care Technician work alongside doctors, nurses and other healthcare professionals to provide direct patient care in a variety of healthcare environments. The Patient Care Technician (PCT) plays a vital role in the healthcare delivery setting often having more patient contact than any other team member including doctors and nurses. Qualifications Job Requirements Current Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification by the American Heart Association (AHA) or the American Red Cross (ARC) Preferred Job Requirements High School diploma or equivalent 1– 2 years patient care experience Hospital experience CNA certification or equivalent
