PCT's play an integral role in the physical and emotional comfort of patients and their families. Provides direct patient care and completes other tasks to support patient care under the supervision of a registered nurse.Essential duties of the position include, but are not limited to the following:Measure and document patient vital signs.Maintain, measure, and document output from drainage systems (urinary, gastric, wound).Bath, toilet, and groom patients.Position and turn patients.Recognize, document, and report physical, behavioral, and mental changes in patients.Re-stock and maintain unit patient care supplies.Patient and specimen transport.PAY RANGE: $19.50 - $22.00*The referenced pay range represents the minimum and maximum compensation for this job. Individual annual salaries/hourly rates will be set within the job's compensation range, and will be determined by considering factors including, but not limited to, market data, education, experience, qualifications, expertise of the individual, and internal equity considerations.Auto req ID:15831BRJob Requirements:GED or High School Diploma required for all levels. College credits preferred for Level IV Senior PCT.Experience:Level I: 6 months or more direct patient care experience or a graduate of an approved CNA program preferred.Level II: At least 1 year of healthcare experience providing direct personal care and interaction with patients in an acute care OR long term care setting required.Current CPR certification (American Heart Association BLS or American Red Cross BLS) upon hire.
