Patient Care Technician - G19E Lymphoma Shift: Evening/Night. 7PM - 7AM, 11PM - 7AM, 3PM - 11PM. A combination of 2 twelve and 2 eight hour shifts per week, with rotating weekends and holidays. SUMMARY Function: Provides patient care services as assigned by a registered nurse. Scope: Impacts patient comfort and outcome of care. Essential Job Functions: • Acts as member of a multidisciplinary team that identifies and addresses patient care needs. • Assists in completion of activities of daily living, mobilization, admit/discharge and obtaining vital signs. • Updates and retrieves patient information. • Ensures patient environment is maintained in a clean, safe and orderly manner. • Acts as part of an assigned care team. • Other duties as assigned. SUPERVISION Received: Directly from a registered nurse. Given: None. REQUIREMENTS Education Required: High school diploma or equivalent. Education Preferred: None. Experience Required: None Experience Preferred: Experience in an acute care setting as a Nursing Assistant Licensure/Certification Required: None. Licensure/Certification Preferred: Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA). Other Required: Must pass pre-employment skills test as required and administered by Human Resources.
