Responsibilities:

The Patient Care Technician participates as member of the healthcare team in the delivery of high quality patient care. Under supervision of the Registered Nurse, the Patient Care Technician performs delgated patient care and procedures and observes reports and records patient conditions and information. The Patient Care Technician assists the healthcare team with specific treatments &/or procedures in the acute care facility.

Qualifications:
  • License Requirements: Active CNA license on file with the state of Maryland
  • Certification Requirements: Healthcare Provider level CPR
  • Education and Work Experience: High School Diploma or GED. Successful completion of a CNA or GNA program. Successful completion of GNA course and/or successful completion of Fundamentals and one additional clinical course in an accredited nursing program. Successful completion of NST course.
