About the Role: Our client is seeking experienced Patient Care Technicians to join our team. As a PCT, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality patient care and supporting our nursing staff.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist nurses with patient care activities, including taking vital signs, monitoring patients, and assisting with ADLs.
- Transport patients to and from appointments and procedures.
- Maintain a clean and organized patient environment.
- Assist with housekeeping duties, such as changing linens and cleaning equipment.
- Adhere to all hospital policies and procedures.
Qualifications:
- Minimum 1 year of experience as a Patient Care Technician in a hospital setting.
- Ability to take vital signs accurately.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
- Current CPR certification.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience working in medical-surgical units.
- Experience with electronic medical records (EMRs).
