GENERAL SUMMARY

Department: Observation - Schedule: PRN - 12 Hour Shifts from 7:30p.m. - 7:00a.m. Hospital: Henry Ford Warren - Location: Warren, MI

Performs basic clinical and non-clinical patient care activities under supervision. Responsibilities: Aids with movement and placement of patients.| Assists patients with tending to personal care and activities of daily living.| Reports findings or changes in physical, mental and emotional conditions to nursing staff. Documents necessary records.| Keeps patient rooms clean, orderly, and maintains medical equipment.

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:

+ Licensure / Certification / Registration: - BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted.

+ Nurse Aide credentialed from the Michigan Nurse Aide Registry preferred. Any issuing authority accepted.

+ Education: - High School diploma equivalency OR 1 year of applicable cumulative job specific experience required.

+ Required professional licensure/certification can be used in lieu of education or experience, if applicable.

+ CNA or NA experience is highly preferred.

+ Phlebotomy experience preferred.
