  • Leads key projects aimed at achieving strategic patient family experience goals across the organization. This includes utilizing performance improvement methods to assess, plan, implement and re-evaluate the effectiveness of strategies.
  • Provides coaching to departments and Family Experience Teams working to achieve goals including coordination and analysis of data, conducting observations, project planning and implementation, and presentation of results. As part of coaching efforts, identifies opportunities to directly engage patients, families and staff through strategies such as rounding, focus groups, supplemental surveys, and family and kids advisory boards.
  • Demonstrates expertise of the patient- family survey process which includes emphasis on the effective coordination, analysis, reporting and utilization of survey and any supplemental data. As a liaison between the survey vendor and organization, remains current on any vendor or governmental changes (i.e., Value Based Purchasing) that impacts goal setting. Provides additional survey analysis for other organizational imperatives such as Magnet re-designation.
  • Conducts needs assessments to determine department specific and/or organizational education needs related to the patient and family experience and assists in developing and implementing content.
  • Presents to both internal and external audiences on patient and family improvement strategies and outcomes.
  • Actively identifies both evidence-based and innovative strategies to further engage patients and families in their care and experience.
  • Other job functions as assigned.
