Join us as a Patient Navigator specializing in imaging and Hereditary Cancer Testing. This full-time opportunity has a Monday - Friday 8:30am - 5pm schedule, and is located in Rolling / Thousand Oaks, CA. Our Patient Navigators play a pivotal role in collaborating with our clinical team to provide an exceptional patient experience to a diverse patient population in an outpatient setting. Our ideal candidate has at least 1 year of recent medical office experience coordinating with a team of medical professionals. Candidate must be bilingual in English and Spanish. Responsibilities

  • Genetics education for high-risk patients.
  • Registration and scheduling follow up appointments for genetic testing.
  • Collection of specimens for genetic testing.
  • Liaison between patient, Radiologist, Pathologist, and Referring Physicians.
  • Insurance verification and authorization.
  • Maintain compassion and professional demeanor with patients in a fast paced environment.
  • Distribute positive genetic test results to referring physicians.
Qualifications: 1 year of certified medical assistant experience in imaging highly preferred. Applicants should be prepared to demonstrate their technical skills through a comprehensive assessment as part of the selection process. Why join us - we offer you the following!
