Job Schedule: Per Diem Standard Hours: 1 Job Shift: Shift 1Shift Details: perdiem requirement is 2 shifts per month or 96 hours in 6 months and1 major holiday, any shift available

JOB SUMMARY

Promotes patient safety and comfort through one-to-one monitoring or continual patient observation and care under the direction of a Registered Nurse.

Key areas of responsibility Provides constant or close observation of the patient(s). Maintains clean, safe and orderly environment conducive to patient safety and comfort. Adheres to infection control policy as required. Communicates critical patient behaviors and needs to clinical staff and/or nursing staff as necessary. Provides patient care to the extent allowed by the individuals clinical training and expertise and/or delegated by a registered nurse. Performs other related duties as required

Qualifications

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

Education: Successful completion of HHC orientation

Experience: No experience required, training provided on-site.

Licensure, Certification, Registration: Certified BLS Provider credentialed from the American Heart Association (AHA) obtained within 2 Months (60 days) of hire date or job transfer date.

Language Skills: Must be able to read and understand oral and written instructions, and effectively communicate information in English.
