Responsibilities:
- Welcome and greet patients, directing them appropriately.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure satisfactory service.
- Support patient flow and minimize wait times.
- Address patient concerns and work with the Office Manager to resolve inquiries.
- Complete pre-visit planning to confirm patient eligibility and accuracy of demographics.
- Update registration forms and inform patients of required documentation.
- Collect co-pays and outstanding balances at appointments.
- Compile medical charts and interview patients for insurance forms.
- Schedule and confirm patient appointments and referrals.
- Maintain patient confidentiality and secure health information.
- Assist with daily patient flow and communicate patient status to management.
- Order medical supplies as necessary and participate in department meetings.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
- High School Graduate or equivalent required.
- Basic computer skills and customer service training required.
- 1+ years of experience in the medical field required; 3+ years preferred.
- Relevant vocational coursework preferred.
