Responsibilities:
  • Welcome and greet patients, directing them appropriately.
  • Collaborate with team members to ensure satisfactory service.
  • Support patient flow and minimize wait times.
  • Address patient concerns and work with the Office Manager to resolve inquiries.
  • Complete pre-visit planning to confirm patient eligibility and accuracy of demographics.
  • Update registration forms and inform patients of required documentation.
  • Collect co-pays and outstanding balances at appointments.
  • Compile medical charts and interview patients for insurance forms.
  • Schedule and confirm patient appointments and referrals.
  • Maintain patient confidentiality and secure health information.
  • Assist with daily patient flow and communicate patient status to management.
  • Order medical supplies as necessary and participate in department meetings.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
  • High School Graduate or equivalent required.
  • Basic computer skills and customer service training required.
  • 1+ years of experience in the medical field required; 3+ years preferred.
  • Relevant vocational coursework preferred.
