Coordinate various efforts to improve quality of care and patient safety throughout the organization by identifying problem areas, collecting/reporting of data to leadership and developing/managing projects related to compliance with the Joint Commission National Patient Safety Goals and other regulatory agencies. Evaluate hospital systems applying patient safety criteria to identify problem/high risk areas. Develop and implement interventions to reduce the risk. EDUCATION/SKILLS:Bachelor's Degree. 3-5 years experience as an allied health professional with clinical experience in direct patient care. The individual must have clinical experience involving the direct care of patients as a healthcare professional (e.g. RN, PA, RT, Pharmacist, Physical therapist etc.) The individual must be self motivated, capable of prioritizing multiple projects, able to interact professionally with senior and clinical leadership. Able to utilize data for data driven change. Skilled at working with inter-professional teams.
